In spite of the lack of logical, well thought-out, reasoned argument, the fact remains: Family Guy is not very good. I'm sorry (not really), but the show is a copy, but lacks the wit of The Simpsons. If they want Family Guy to be really good, the have to write for a broader audience than 12-18 year olds and socially retarded adults.

Sorry, all you poseur comedy afficionados, the show "Family Guy" is just not very good. Aside form the fact that the animatiion looks like some cheap Saturday morning cereal commercial, the writing is witless and unintelligent.

Stupidity

To begin with, stupidity is all around us. It issues from every pore of our collective hide. It is the natural state of our species.

I have formed this conclusion grudgingly. I never wanted people to be stupid. In fact, I held out hope (early on, of course), that there was a trend of enlightenment. That, somehow, we would rise from the formative ooze of the twentieth century, and reach a fruited plain of truth, justice, liberty and respect for education and science. Alas, it was not to be.
